Ground Zero Business Consulting (GZBC) was founded by entrepreneur Mina Nicole out of her desire to help small start-up businesses get a kick start and build a better business from the ground up by creating a solid business foundation.  Since 2013, Mina Nicole has owned and operated Elegant Occasions Event Center, in Fairburn, GA.  Since that time, the number one question she has been asked by aspiring business owners is “how did you get started?” and this question is the foundation of who we are.

GZBC and its products and services were created with the aspiring or new business owner in mind. At GZBC, we are here to answer all of your “how to” questions through providing “Starting from The Bottom” workshop series, helpful social media broadcast, one on one business coaching, business services and media services. 

Mina Nicole is a native of Miami, FL, where she attended high school and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. Mina Nicole also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, from the Keller School of Management, at DeVry University. Mina Nicole started her event planning career in 2000 while serving as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in college. It was at this time that Mina Nicole was thrust into various leadership positions with several on campus groups. During this time of discovery, Simple Elegance Event Planning, LLC, was born and it was through this business Mina Nicole began to plan small family gathers that eventually evolved to large scale events in her church, family, community and sorority. 

During the development stages of Elegant Occasions Event Center, Mina Nicole was forced to learn the ins and outs of starting a business and designing an event venue in a retail space with just dirt on the ground. It was during this time that Mina Nicole met various challenges when trying to seek guidance from other venue owners in the Atlanta area regarding getting started. It was during these formative years that Mina Nicole decided to not be the person that turns her back on start-up business owners. Through the Mina Nicole Nation, Mina Nicole has and continues to Lead, Teach and Inspire others to start their businesses, find their passion and pay it forward.
